The need for network systems administrators is expected to increase by 23% by 2018 according to the Department of Labor. This is much faster than the average for all other occupations. Networks are a crucial part of business and education and demand for workers with the ability to equip, repair, and build them will continue to increase the on the date listed by the Department of Labor. This coupled by an increased adoption of mobile technologies means that inevitably businesses will be using the Internet and private networks for business critical operations. Growth in this area is also driven by an increased need for information security. Cyber-attacks are becoming more frequent and more sophisticated. Demand will increase for workers with security skills.

Completion of the Onyx Tech network program will give clients knowledge in the areas of:

The program uses a combination of hands-on lab-based and virtual training. The the use of virtual technologies students gain skill to repetitive work in a secure sandbox environment.
